FAQ

Good to know

What should I wear?+

Semi-formal: polished and comfortable for a partially outdoor evening, formal Indian attire is welcome. Bring a layer: a nice jacket, blazer, or light coat is perfect. Please leave the puffers, fleeces, and big parkas at home.

What will the weather be like?+

As Mark Twain is often credited saying, "the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." Expect 55–65°F once the sun drops. Please bring a layer for the ceremony and the walk between spaces.

How should I get to the Presidio?+

Lyft, Uber, and Waymo will be the easiest rideshare options and should be readily accessible throughout the night. If you're driving, parking is available right next to the venue at $3/hour until 6 PM — just follow the venue signage for parking instructions. Alternatively, the 43 and 30 bus lines will get you to the Presidio on public transit.

Where should I stay?+

We recommend staying in San Francisco so getting to the Presidio is easy and you can explore the city outside of wedding plans. An Airbnb or hotel are both great options. A few nearby favorites: Hotel Kabuki by Hyatt in Japantown (about a 13-minute drive from the venue), Laurel Inn by Hyatt (about a 7-minute drive), and Lodge at the Presidio (about a 7-minute walk).

Please check the RSVP page. Your invitation will show whether a plus one is included. If you have any questions, let us know!

When should I RSVP?+

Please RSVP by December 1 so we can share the final count with our vendors.
